Fiona Healy, LPI Test and Inspection Coordinator Fundraises for Breast Cancer Ireland

As part of Lightning Protection International’s Giving Back to the Community initiative, we are delighted to support Fiona Healy, our Test and Inspection Coordinator, as she makes the brave move to undertake a 13,000ft skydive to fundraise for Breast Cancer Ireland. As a cancer survivor, she wanted to give back to a cause that raises funding to support pioneering research programmes across Ireland, as well as to promote education and awareness on the importance of breast health amongst women of all ages.

Fiona Healy comments, “Now I feel it’s time for me to give a little back and help another person on their journey. Prior to my diagnoses, I never would have considered a skydive, so this will be a huge challenge for me to undertake. If people can donate as little as €1, it will greatly help the cause and support individuals and families affected by this disease”.

The skydive was due to take place last Sunday the 4th of October 2020, however, due to Storm Alex, it is now postponed to the 8th of November 2020. Until then, all of us here at Lightning Protection International are wishing Fiona the very best of luck on her brave venture to raise vital funds for Breast Cancer Ireland.
